CONNECTION THROUGH COOKING

Cook, Drink & Support Women

A cooking & wine tasting class featuring recipes from women chefs & wines made by female winemakers

So much to celebrate this month!

The first day of spring and Women’s History Month should both be reasons to lift our spirits and get us inspired and engaged as we continue 2021.

In that spirit, I invite you to join me for a very special cooking and wine tasting class featuring dishes and wines from female chefs and winemakers!

I’ve selected some very special ladies who have inspired me so much and I want to pay homage to them and show you their brilliance through the food and wine we’ll enjoy during this class.

We will be cooking some delicious spring-inspired dishes adapted from recipes by Diana Kennedy (Mexico), Alice Waters (United States), and Marcella Hazan (Italy).

The winemakers are some fierce ladies who are making some incredible wines:

Ntsiki Biyela (the first black female winemaker in South Africa!)
Leah Jorgensen from Oregon (a one-woman show, pirate princess, owner, and winemaker!)
Elisabetta Foradori from Italy (a legend and a champion of her region!)
