This on demand class is a wonderful journey of discovering seasonal Scandinavian flavors and how to best pair them with wine.

Meet the Winemaker

Leah Jorgensen is of Danish background and grew up on a small family farm outside of Eugene, Oregon. She makes beautiful wines from the Cabernet Franc grape, inspired by the Loire Valley (which happens to be my favorite wine region in the world) and that pair incredibly well with Scandinavian food.

Leah is a one-woman show, having received high praise from wine critics around the country. She takes inspiration from her father’s farming heritage rooted in Denmark and Norway and from her mother’s winemaking family in Italy.

I’ll be featuring three of her most popular wines in-class plus you’ll get you a sneak peek at two of Leah’s other wines perfect for the upcoming holiday season.
