In class we’ll make the following dishes together:

Hasselback poteter

A crispy baked potato sliced into fan-shaped like slices, drizzled with garlic butter and fresh herbs.

Purre-og Potetsuppe

This creamy leek and potato soup is a classic in Norwegian cuisine and completely dairy-free!

Fløtegratinerte poteter

Perhaps one of the most popular side dishes in Norway when you’re looking for decadence: Sliced potatoes baked in cream and cheese a la potatoes au gratin.

Potetpannekaker

Fluffy potato pancakes served with cardamom-scented sour cream and a blueberry coulis. The perfect Nordic dessert!

Potatoes have to be the most versatile vegetable out there, but did you know it’s also one of the most complete and nutritious foods you can eat?

Rich in nutrients, they contain a good amount of fiber, protein, vitamin B and C, potassium and antioxidants.

No wonder then that Norwegians turned to the potato when times were hard in the old days. But today we’re upgrading this ingredient and turning it into fun and decadent dishes celebrating all the textures, flavors and versatility it can provide!
